Welcome to the 27th CECE in Rennes August 25-29!
The splendid programme put together by Olivier Kah and his colleagues for the Conference of the European Comparative Endocrinologists has already attracted a very high number of registrants, especially among young scientists and students. We are also delighted to see so many participants from non-European countries. If you haven't yet registered, it is still possible to do so on the conference web site (http://cece2014.org/registration-2/). We look forward to a rewarding conference with many stimulating discussions.
We are especially looking forward to the plenary lectures by the following eminent scientists:
Silvia Zanuy (CSIC, Castellón, Spain): A 40-year journey into fish reproductive endocrinology, from the lab to the market
Bon-chu Chung (Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan): Function and regulation of steroids in vertebrates
Dick R. Nässel (Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden): Insulin/IGF signaling in insects
Luis Renato França (Federal Univ. of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil): Spermatogonial stem cell physiology and translpantation in fish
Charles R. Tyler (Univ. of Exeter, Exeter, UK): Oestrogenic chemicals and their effects on fish and fish populations
Welcome!
