28th CECE in Leuven, Aug 21-25 2016, ESCE updates
We can announce that the next CECE meeting, the 28th since 1962, will be held in Leuven, Belgium, at the historic University of Leuven. The conference will be organised by Dr. Jozef Vanden Broeck and colleagues. More information will be posted here when available.
The 27th CECE in Rennes, France, was successfully concluded last week. Go to www.cece2014.org to see the conference group photo. More pictures and videos will be posted in the coming days.
At the society business meeting held in conjunction with the conference it was decided that Dr. Horst-Werner Korf of the Interdisciplinary Center for Neuroscience, Goethe University Frankfurt, will take over the presidency of the society from Dr. Dan Larhammar of Uppsala University. Dr. Deborah M Power of University of the Algarve, Portugal, will act as vice president. These, and other changes to the ESCE council, are shown in the council page.
